A photograph will never totally capture an actual experience. This is true for all people, places, and things. It is even more true for the source of all things. No matter what your image of God is, it is always limited and will never completely express that to which it attains. Confusing an image of a person with the truth of a person is like eating a menu instead of a meal. It can become an act of dangerous unreality. Let us pray for the wisdom to refrain from confusing our images of people, places, things, and God with their inherent truth.
