This day I am bound for no public place, only for this ground of my own. Here I have planted gardens and trees. Here I have seen them grow. On this ground, I have lived most of my married life and have raised my son. On this ground, I have seen the beauty of Spring, thunderstorms in Summer, Autumn glory, and Winter peace. On this ground seasons and people and pets have come and gone. On this ground, I have loved and rested, grieved and rejoiced. If there is a heaven, I want it to be here.
