The Choice

faithpolitics

History shows that when Christianity is in agreement with politics, either Christianity has gone astray or politics has become moral. The former is usually the case.

The Gospel of Matthew offers this:“Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…for God makes the sun rise on the bad and the good.” This is the Christian perspective. It has never been the political perspective and it never will be.

Either the world will call you a fool or God will call you a fool. You cannot serve both and you must choose. The choice you make will determine your character. This choice is set before every adult, and apathy is not a choice.
